Control room of Howrah GRP District is located at the 2nd floor of the Building at Yatri Niwas, New Complex Building, Howrah Railway Station, the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Government Railway Police, Howrah, 711 101. Control Room of Howrah GRP District deals with continuous monitoring of all sorts of actions viz. law and order situation, festivals, apprise crime incident, VIP Movement to all concerned as well as movement of trains in Howrah GRP Jurisdiction, rendering assistance / help through  033-2641-3096, 033-2641-3256 dial helpline telephones and also to keep liaison with the other Districts/ Superiors.

Control Room is functioning with experienced officers and force round the clock. E-Mail Section & RT Wireless Section, Message Receive & Despatch section are also functioning under one roof of the Howrah GRP District Control Room. Deputy Superintendent of  Railway Police, Head Quarters, and Reserve Inspector, Head Quarters are the controlling and supervising officers of the Control Room.
